Halloween is my second favorite holiday (I’m a Christmas girlie through and through) but Halloween food still deserves a creepy and spooky twist!

56 avocados
3 roma tomatoes, diced
1/4 cup red onion, diced
1 tbsp. fresh lime juice
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. fresh cilantro, chopped
1/2 cup vegan/GF sour cream

Optional: plastic spider decoration

Instructions

Cut the avocados in half, remove the seed, and scoop the insides into a medium mixing bowl.
Use a fork to mash the avocado.
Add the tomatoes (reserve about 1/3 cup for presentation), onion, cilantro, and lime juice.
Mix to combine.
Add the guacamole to a serving bowl.
Add the sour cream to a piping bag and snip off just the tip.
Draw the spider web on top of the guacamole.
Add a ring of tomatoes around the outside.
Add a plastic spider for decoration, if desired.

  • Avocados: The fundamental ingredient.
  • Roma Tomatoes: Added to the guacamole and around the edges as a border for the spider web. Can be swapped with your favorite tomato.
  • Red Onion: Adds a tang to the guacamole. Can be swapped for a white onion or a sweet onion.
  • Fresh Lime Juice: The classic addition to an authentic guacamole. Can be swapped for lemon juice.
  • Salt: Adds flavor to the guac.
  • Fresh Cilantro: Used as a topping. Can be omitted.

How To Make Halloween Guacamole
